Both AC powered (adapter included) and built-in Ni-Cad rechargeable battery. Battery-saving, auto-off feature automatically shuts off the scale after 4 minutes of inactivity – can be disabled. Low battery indicator. Stainless steel platform. Tare to capacity. Accumulator function allows adding of consecutive weights to arrive at a total. Adjustable feet.
